The best Guitar Tricks deal right now: $99 for a year
Guitar Tricks’ Black Friday 2026 sale is live. A year of Full Access costs $99 instead of $179, and it comes with the Ultimate Beginner Bundle of extras (a Custom Lesson Plan, Premium Bootcamp access, the 100 Essential Licks series, three ebooks and four learning tools). No code is needed; the button opens Guitar Tricks’ Black Friday page, where the price and a countdown are shown. On 7 November the countdown ended on 14 November (US Pacific time), though in 2025 the offer ran to 28 November. It beats every code on this page by $44. Everything in the $99 deal, and when it ends.
The best code when there is no sale on: SAVE20
SAVE20 on the annual plan: $143.20 instead of $179 (saves $35.80, works out to $11.93 a month). It is Guitar Tricks’ own affiliate code and the biggest discount available outside the $99 sales.

Codes that do not exist: coupon aggregator sites list “70% off” and “80% off” Guitar Tricks codes. We tested the ones we could find in November 2026 and none worked. The real range is 20% off with a code, or about 45% off during the $99 promotion. $99 a year is the floor; Guitar Tricks has never sold a year for less.
Which deal should you take?
- You have never used Guitar Tricks: start the free trial. Use the 14 days to finish the first few Guitar Fundamentals lessons. If you are still playing on day 10, buy the annual plan before the trial ends, at $99 while the sale is on or with SAVE20 after it.
- You know you will use it for the year: take the $99 deal now. If you are reading this after the sale, go straight to annual with SAVE20; $143.20 is the best price available outside the $99 promotions.
- You only want to try it for a month: SAVE20 monthly brings the first month to $23.96. Remember monthly renews at $29.95.
- It is a present: the gift certificate covers 3, 6 or 12 months and does not auto-renew on the recipient.
How to apply a Guitar Tricks coupon code

- Choose Monthly or Annual.
- If the discount is not showing, type the code into the coupon box on the payment page and apply it. The new price shows before you pay.

Guitar Tricks Black Friday 2026
Status: live. Black Friday is 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is 30 November. Guitar Tricks has sold a year of Full Access for $99 over Black Friday every year since at least 2022, with a bundle of extras that grows a little each year, and the 2026 version went live in early November with a countdown ending 14 November; in 2025 it ended on 28 November, so it may be extended or re-run. We check the deal page daily and update the status line there.
Free trial: what you get and what to watch
The trial gives 14 days of full access to all 11,000+ lessons, every song and the toolbox. Guitar Tricks takes billing details at sign-up and converts the trial to the $29.95 monthly plan on day 15, so cancel from your account settings before then if you do not want to continue; you will not be charged. The free gift Guitar Tricks currently advertises with the trial is yours to keep either way. Full details on our free trial page.
Refunds and cancelling
Guitar Tricks has a 60-day money-back guarantee on paid plans, which is longer than any other major platform we have reviewed. Monthly plans cancel from your account settings (user icon, then Billing & Settings, then Cancel Billing) and run to the end of the paid period. Annual plans renew on your sign-up date each year; cancel before that date to avoid the renewal.
Frequently asked questions
Can I stack SAVE20 with the $99 deal?
No. The $99 price is already a promotion and coupon codes do not apply on top of it. Take whichever is cheaper, which is the $99 deal.
Can existing members use a coupon code?
Codes are for new sign-ups. The SAVE20 link opens Guitar Tricks’ upgrade page, which is also where monthly members move to annual, but we have not confirmed that the code applies to an upgrade, so do not count on it. Codes never apply to a renewal that is already scheduled.
Is there a Guitar Tricks student or military discount?
Not that Guitar Tricks publishes. SAVE20, SAVE10 and the $99 promotions are the only discounts we have been able to verify.
Is there a lifetime membership?
No. Guitar Tricks sells monthly and annual plans only.
Do I need a card for the free trial?
Yes. Guitar Tricks collects billing details when you start the trial and charges nothing for 14 days. Cancel before day 15 and you pay nothing.
Is the Guitar Tricks coupon page on this site official?
No. We are an independent review site. The codes are Guitar Tricks’ own public and affiliate codes, which we test and list.
What is the cheapest way to get Guitar Tricks?
The $99-a-year promotion when it runs (it is running now); otherwise the annual plan with SAVE20 at $143.20.
